Q. Who is Cheap
Website Design & Hosting?
A. We are owned and operated by Discovery
Towers Multimedia. This website is an extension of our existing
business. This website is proof that proper seo optimization
works as we can be found on all search engines on the 1st page
for high page rankings.
Q. I have all the business I need, I
don't need a website, Do I?
A. The decision is always yours, but even if you have
lots of business a website provides existing customers with
updated information about your business. New services,
products and the latest news in your industry. A website is
many things to many people, but it can be an excellent
resource for your existing clients by offering them extra
value. It is the 21st century, Isn't it time you joined?
Q. I'm moving from California to
Colorado. Will my website move with me?
A. Absolutely, All we need to do is
change your contact information and anything else
that is geographically important. If you are selling
products on the web then it doesn't matter where you are.
However, If you are selling a service such as photography
services. Then we will need to address the local areas unless
you still have services available in California. We will need to
take care of geographical issues in your meta tags etc. so we
know you are marketing to the right area. (Remember we provide
free update services, so there is no additional costs to make
those changes)
Q. How soon can you have my site
working?
A. We can have your domain name, hosting account
and emails up and working within a day, however, if you
liked the free sample site we did for you, we can load that also
within a day then it's just a few days depending on how much
content you need to add. Of course the larger and more
sophisticated the site, the longer it will take, however, on
average your site should be up and running within a week barring
no unforeseen obstacles.
Q.
Why isn't there any consistency in pricing for websites?
What am I really paying for?
A. It's a simple matter of economics for that
particular web design company. It just depends on their
overhead. Sometimes you may be dealing with a single web
designer working out of his home and all he needs is one
good job to pay for his whole salary for the month... ie..
"Well that'll be about $2300 for a complete website sir!"
Or it could be a part-time venture for a student or your
cousins best friend who will do your website for $150 bucks.
(But you may not get it in a timely manner or as
professionally as you like)
You may be
working with a larger more professional web firm and of
course they are paying larger salaries and overhead so they
have to charge the top dollar. A great way to go is of
course, Us!

Q. My
last designer just never seemed to get the job done, how do
I know you can?
A. Quite frankly, you can't. However, we do
things in stages rather than a "Ta Daaaa" approach. What I
mean by that is that many designers will sit down with you
and try to figure out what you want asking the typical
questions, color theme, layout, likes and dislikes etc.
And then you don't hear from them until it's done... They
call you up and say..."Ta Daaa" What do you think? and
if you don't like it... It's the beginning of a stressed
relationship. We on the
other hand simply start with the same information gathering
process but allow you to see the work in stages so you can
make changes as we go... so no big surprises at the end.
And, you typically get what you want... It's ok to say you
don't like it, and we can change it, but it is very
frustrating to re-do a whole website if it's done in a Ta
Daaa approach.
Q. Can I
have a shopping cart in my website?
A. Of
course you can... you can have a free shopping cart provided
by PayPal or you can provide us with your own via your
existing merchant account service or we can provide one for
you as well. Anyway you choose we can help.
Q. What
about Meta Tag Optimization for my website?
A.
Meta tags are
almost obsolete, It used to be thats just about all you had
to do. These days it's a combination of many techniques and
features that you must incorporate into a website. Please
review our

clearer description of website optimization. There is simply
no inexepensive way to have your cake and eat it too...
Here's a question to answer a question.
How many businesses are there just like yours in the United
States that have a website? And, if there are just 50
like businesses in your area alone and only 10
position on the first page available for indexing on say
Google, How are all of the web designers and companies
promising everyone a position on the 1st page doing it? Now
add the rest of the thousands of like businesses in the good
ole USA.
Our
common sense says that they aren't. Empty promises is all we
typically see. resulting in a big waste of money... There
are exceptions but there is always a catch. And, beware
of those companies that say they have inside information...
it's usually a ploy. Also the search engines only give basic
tips on how they want a website optimized. If they gave away
their real secrets on how they index web pages, everybody
would be doing the exact same thing. At best website
optimizers are always trying to circumvent the process...
Remember the old fill up the top of your website with
invisible key words etc. Once the search engines catch
on, it's a slow painful death for your website... We

How do you market my website for me then?
A. I love this question and my answer is...
Business card printers don't hand out your business cards
for you do they? Then you should not leave the
marketing and sales of your business in the hands of a web
designer or a design company unless they can convince you
they know what they are doing. We have close to 20 years of
sales and marketing experience and we don't have all the
answers. So how can a guy with no real life sales experience, no
real life marketing experience tell you the exact way to
make money on the Internet. He's just repeating what he/she has
read from "How to Market Your Website Online" Articles and
Books. We do
have additional Search Engine Optimization services that
can market your website effectively. If you want to
generate sales and or leads from your website then you
need to speak to us about our
SEO SERVICES. A website really is not a quick fix or
quick cash to get you out of an immediate financial problem. If
that is the reason that you think a website is for,
forget it. Don't waste your money.
It's your business, a website
is one of the most powerful tools in your business to help
you market and sell, but it is not the driving factor for
marketing or sales unless you develop it for that purpose
exclusively. If you are serious about your business,
then you should be your own best salesperson, and utilize
your website as a marketing tool, a sales tool, a full color
brochure, an interactive office and interactive store. But

Q. Do I have to pay a Monthly
Fee?
A. Not with Cheap Website Design & Hosting, we only sell our
services in packages. We don't like monthly fees, billing is
an expense. Unless of course you want to pay for that
fee...haha...Just Kidding!
Q. Can I
make payments on my fee?
A.
Currently we do offer in-house
financing at 0 percent interest, however there are
restrictions and qualifications required.
Q. How can I pay for your
services?
A. We basically require a 50% deposit and the
balance do on completion and the website is active on the
Internet. However in some exceptional cases we can
accept smaller deposits on a case by case basis.
Q.
Do you accept credit cards?
A. Yes of course. We use the largest online
secured merchant account in the world. PAY PAL.
All you have to do is simply click the
"Make A Payment"
Button and insert the amount of the deposit, payment or
balance and you will be immediately transferred to the
secure PayPal site. Your credit card information is
encrypted at your end and decrypted at their end for your
protection.
Discovery Towers Multi-Media does not have and
is not given your credit card information.
Q. Do I
have to pay for my own
www.mybusinessname.com?
A. Nope, It's included in our packages.
Q. I
have my own website now, but want a new design for it. Can I have you
make one and put it on my existing site?
A.
Yes, this is a very common service. Websites should be
kept looking new and fresh all the time.
Q.
I have to wait to get all my information and pictures
together first before I start?
A. Actually that is the biggest delay for
anyone trying to get a website. We are all always busy doing
something and waiting to get all of our "Ducks In A Row"
before you make a decision is a typical mistake many people
make. This is more commonly known as an excuse for
procrastination...Then It never happens. We make it a
lot easier than you may think... We go one page at a time
and don't worry about the others until we are done with
one... that way you have more control and actually see
progress without stress.
Q. I
don't know what to put on my website?
A. Well, believe it or not, once we sit down
and chat a little, your mind will quickly step up to the
plate and we really won't have a problem with the type of
pages you need. Common pages are basically navigated
with a "Menu" with appropriate page names such as Home,
Products, Services, Articles, FAQ, Newsletter, Coupons,
Specials, About Us, Contact Us and so many more.
We really will hold your hand
through the process if you have no experience. We've been

last designer just didn't get it... I mean he did not
